A welcoming and safe environment is paramount to all of our residents. To help ensure ALL of our residents understand our pet and animal-related policies (No Pet and Animal Policy / Pet Policy / Animal Policy) we require EVERYONE to complete a third-party screening and review process. This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related policy acknowledgments and more accurate records to create greater mutual accountability. Remember, if you do not have any pets or animals there is No Charge to complete the pet application.
This is a required application process for anyone that does NOT own a pet or animal. There is no cost ($) to you for completing the application process
This is a required application process for anyone that owns a household pet. This includes dogs and cats and might include pets that live in cages such as birds, hamsters, rabbits, snakes or fish tanks (because of the contained water) so please ask your housing provider for clarification regarding these types of pets
This is a required review process for anyone with a non-obvious disability and disability-related need for an assistance animal. This process provides a HIPAA compliant and secure way of submitting a reasonable accommodation request for an assistance animal (service animals, emotional support animals, companion animals, etc.) that will be reviewed by a third-party legal review team to ensure the accommodation request meets HUD’s Fair Housing Act guidelines. There is no cost ($0) to you to submit an accommodation request. Please make sure you are aware of your State’s laws, if any, for submitting a fraudulent accommodation request
Adding a new pet to your current lease
Verify with PowerHouse Property Management, LLC that a pet will be allowed in the home your are currently renting. Remember!! We do not allow puppies less than one year old or agressive breed dogs. See list below.
Complete your pet application. Please note the pet application is geared for pets already iving in the home. Complete the application as best you can. After 30 day sof pet ownership, please go in and update your application.
Your initial pet rent will be based on two paws. When you update the application after 30 days of pet ownership, your pet rent will be adjustded to the new paw score.
Pet Rent & Pet Liability Fee
PowerHouse Property Management, LLC requires a one time $200 pet administrative fee. In addition to this fee, you will also have monthly Pet Rent per pet. In addition to Pet Rent you may be responsible for a pet libaility fee per pet. The pet liability fee is determined based upon the "Paw Score" that PetScreening.com assigns to your pet. This score is determined using a proprietary formula that takes into account things like pet age, per breed, pet size etc. Pet rent and Pet Liability fees are monthly fees & rent.
5 Paws - $25.00/mo Pet Rent
4 Paws - $25.00/mo Pet Rent plus a $5/mo per liability fee
3 Paws - $25.00/mo Pet Rent plus a $10/mo pet liability fee
2 Paws - $25.00/mo Pet Rent plus a $20/mo pet liability fee
1 Paw - $25.00/mo Pet Rent plus a $35/mo pet liability fee
0 Paw - $50.00/mo Pet Rent plus a $50/mo pet liability fee
Please note that the following dog breeds are restricted and NOT allowed at any of our managed properties. Any mixed breed dogs with any of the below breeds will not be allowed.
